Eventide H9 Harmonizer Review – Best Multi-Effects Pedal?

One After 909 Eventide has come a long way since pioneering pitch shifting in the 1970's with their first Harmonizer rack units, the most famous being the H910 and H949. Their innovation continued with the release of such gems as the H3000 Harmonizer in the late 80's which many guitarists may recognize for its ... Read More

  1. John Charmelo says:

I haven’t played that many distortion pedals, but I’ve played enough to say that the Tech21 GT2 is pretty nice for less than two hundo. I use the highest gain mesa boogie setting and for a high gain sound it is pleasant and brutal. Destroys the DS1 and MT2 for harmonic quality, and the overpriced Bogner and Wampler pedals as well. I spent a lot of money to discover this. Not a being a Tech21 blowhard, the XXL and TRI AC suck for high gain. And Line 6 can kiss my ass.
