Red Witch Original Chrome Series Violetta Delay

By Gabriel Tanaka

Red Witch just unveiled their new Violetta Delay, the first in their all-new Original Chrome Series. This pedal takes its cue from Violet, the mini delay from the “Seven Sisters” line of Red Witch mini guitar pedals… but with quite a few twists.

The Violetta Delay offers more functionality than I ever imagined could be crammed into such a small pedal. It comes fully-loaded with control knobs for Delay, Mix, Mod, & Repeat, an Expression Pedal output for real-time control, True Bypass switching, a built in rechargeable battery, and an ultra-small footprint that’ll fit on any crowded pedalboard. Oh, and Slapback sounds, Self-Oscillation, and 1000ms of delay? Yes, please! And she looks absolutely stunning with her glossy chrome exterior. And at such a low price point, the Violetta Delay is one of the best bargains around.

Here’s Ben from Red Witch giving us our first demo of the Violetta Delay…

And here’s a video with more playing and less talking…

And here’s one more video of Jeff Boyle (JAKOB) playing the Violetta. Great atmospheric sounds.

So, yeah, I’m really excited about this one. You should be, too. I’m a big fan of the Red Witch Empress Chorus and Synthotron, so you can expect to see my full Red Witch Violetta Delay review soon.
